Slovenia Industrial Turnover, New Orders Decline In July

Friday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the industrial turnover decreased 21.3% year-over-year in July, compared to the 21% fall in the previous month.

In July, turnover in mining and quarrying increased 0.8% on an annual basis , while manufacturing turnover dipped 21.6%.

On a monthly basis, industrial turnover dropped 1.6% in July.

For the first seven months of the year, industrial turnover decreased 22.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, industrial new orders declined 23.6% year-on-year in August, compared to the 30% fall in the previous month. Month-on-month, industrial new orders fell 1.9% in July. During the January to July period, industrial new orders dropped 32.6% over a year ago.
