Croatia Q2 GDP Drops

Friday, Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics said in a final report that the gross domestic product or GDP decreased 6.3% year-on-year in the second quarter, unrevised from the initial estimate. In the first quarter, the GDP was down 6.7%, which was the biggest drop since first quarter of 2000. The GDP had grown 3.4% a year ago, in the second quarter.

The gross value added dropped 3.9% in the second quarter, after falling 4% in the first quarter.
