Wednesday, Romania's central bank said in a report that the M3 money supply increased 1.4% month-on-month in August, faster than the 0.6% growth in the previous month.
On an annual basis, the M3 money supply increased 13.3% in August, compared to the 12.5% growth in the previous month.
The M2 money supply grew 12.6% annually in August, and it was up 1.3% compared to the previous month.
In contrast, the M1 money supply decreased 9% year-on-year in August, and it was up 1.6% compared to the preceding month.
