Greek GDP Drops In Q2

Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the gross domestic product or GDP at constant prices decreased 0.2% year-over-year in the second quarter, compared to the 0.3% growth in the previous quarter.

Sequentially, the GDP increased 0.3% in the second quarter, after falling 1.2% in the first quarter.

At current prices, the GDP increased 0.6% annually in the second quarter, and it was up 0.7% compared to the previous quarter.
