Wednesday, the Statistics Estonia said in a final report that the trade deficit stood at EEK 1.4 billion in July, widening from EEK 553 million in June. The trade deficit in July was revised from EEK 1.2 billion reported initially.
Exports decreased 26% year-on-year to EEK 8.13 billion in July, confirmed the preliminary report. In June, exports were down 13%.
In July, imports dropped 36% on an annual basis to EEK 9.6 billion, revised from 38% fall reported previously.
On a monthly basis, exports decreased 14% in July and imports were down 4%. Exports and imports decline were revised from 15% and 5%, respectively reported earlier.
