Spain's export prices dropped 4.3% year-on-year in June, after declining 3.8% in the preceding month, the National Statistics Institute or INE said Friday. Export prices have been falling consecutively since December last year.
Import prices slipped 10.7% annually in June, faster than a 9.8% drop in May. Import prices have also been falling continuously since December.
Moreover, energy showed the biggest drop among both import and export prices. Export prices of energy fell 39.7%, while the corresponding import prices dropped 41.4%.
On a monthly basis, the general export prices rose 0.3%, while import prices increased 1% in June.
