Dutch Producer Confidence Improves In October

Dutch producer confidence improved more than expected in October, the Central Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday.

The sentiment indicator increased to minus 7.8 in October from minus 9.8 in September. Economists expected a reading of minus 9.

In October, the entrepreneurs slightly gloomier about their competitiveness on foreign markets than in July. However, they were more optimistic about the expected value of the foreign orders received in the next three months, the statistical office said.
