French Manufacturers See Improvement In Q4 Global Demand: Survey

According to the quarterly survey released by the French statistical office INSEE on Tuesday, the balance of opinion regarding global demand continued to improve. Manufactures expect it to improve again in the fourth quarter.

The balance of opinion regarding recent changes in total demand stood at minus 15 in the third quarter and that for the expected change was minus 9. Meanwhile, the balance on recent change in export demand increased more strongly to 1 and for expected change in future moved up to zero.

Further, the proportion of businesses encountering production bottlenecks improve for the first time since the end of 2007. Looking forward, business leaders forecast the decline in employment to be less marked again over the next three months.
