Industrial output in Bulgaria dropped 18.9% year-on-year in July, after a 18.7% fall in the preceding month, the National Statistical Institute said Thursday.
Mining output fell 13%, while manufacturing output dropped 24.3%. However, production of utilities was up 1.3%.
Month-on-month, industrial output rose 1.6%, following a 6.9% rise in the preceding month.
Meanwhile, industrial turnover declined 24.5% on a yearly basis, but rose 0.4% compared to the previous month in July.
Separately, the statistical office said the construction output fell 14.5% year-on-year in July, and was unchanged compared to the previous month.
