Friday, the National Bank of Belgium said in a report that the trade surplus stood at EUR 0.2 billion in May, up from EUR 0.1 billion deficit in a year ago. In April, the trade surplus was EUR 0.1 billion.
Exports dropped 24.1% year-on-year to EUR 16.2 billion in May, while imports declined 25.7% to EUR 16 billion .
