Slovak Trade Balance Shows Deficit In June

Tuesday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic said the trade balance showed a deficit of EUR 6.3 million in June compared to a revised surplus of EUR 125.8 million in May. Exported recorded an annual decline of 25.7%, while imports slipped 26.7% in June.

For the first six months, exports decreased 28.4% to EUR 18.46 billion and imports dropped 30.1% to EUR 18.17 billion, resulting in a surplus of EUR 294.7 million.
