Tuesday, Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 1.5% year-on-year in August, faster than the 1.2% growth in the previous month.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices dropped 0.5% on an annual basis in August, while clothing and footwear prices fell 1.7%. Electricity, gas and other fuels prices rose 2.8%.
On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.1% in August, compared to the 0.7% fall in the previous month.
