Thursday, the Statistics Sweden said in a report that the activity index, which measures activity in the Swedish economy, dropped a seasonally adjusted 0.30% month-on-month in June compared to a revised 0.3% fall in the preceding month.
On an annual basis, activity index declined 3.6% in June.
The statistical office said the decrease in the index was mainly due to decline in industrial production. However, imports and retail trade turnover made positive contributions.
