Belgium Consumer Prices Decline For Third Straight Month

Thursday, Belgium's National Institute of Statistics said in a report that the consumer price index or CPI dropped 1.68% year-over-year in July, compared with a 1.10% decline in the previous month. This was the third consecutive month of decline in consumer prices. A year earlier, the CPI was up 5.91%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI decreased 0.06% in July, after falling 0.19% in June.
