Lithuania HICP Inflation Slows

Tuesday, the Statistics Lithuania announced that the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP rose 2.6% year-over-year in July, slower than the 3.9% increase in the previous month. A year ago, the HICP was up 12.4%.

On a monthly basis, the HICP was down 0.8% in July, after falling 0.3% in June.

Meanwhile, the average annual HICP inflation stood at 7.8% in July, slowing from 8.6% in the previous month. A year earlier, the HICP inflation was 9.9%.
