Monday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 10.8% year-on-year in September, slower than the 10.9% growth in the previous month. The consumer price inflation was 14% a year ago.
On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.8% in September, faster than the 0.5% increase seen in the prior month.
Meanwhile, the CPI less housing cost climbed 15.7% on an annual basis in August, and it was up 0.86% compared to the preceding month.
