Hungary Jan.-June Trade Surplus Widens

Wednesday, Hungary's Central Statistical Office announced that the trade surplus stood at EUR 2.06 billion in the January to June period, up from EUR 288 million surplus recorded in the same period of the previous year.

For the first six months of the year, the volume of exports dropped 20% over a year ago, while imports volume fell 25%.
