Denmark Retail Sales Increase In July

Tuesday, the Statistics Denmark announced that the retail sales increased 1% month-on-month in July, compared to the 0.3% fall in the previous month.

In July, retail sales for food and groceries dropped to 0.9% from 0.6% fall in June, while sales for clothing,etc fell 0.6%. Other consumer goods sales climbed 3.4%.

On an annual basis, retail sales decreased 0.5% in July, after falling 3.4% in June. A year ago, retail sales were down 3.5%.
