Business Leaders See Cleantech As Key Sector For UK Economy By 2020 - Survey

Thursday, a survey commissioned by UK's department for Business Innovation and Skills revealed that cleantech and renewables are expected to become two of the most important sectors of the economy by 2020.

The survey, which participated business leaders from across eight sectors found that nearly half, 43%, of those questioned believe that cleantech, the technology that improves efficiency and reduces carbon emissions, will grow at the fastest pace by 2020, followed by science and technology and media and entertainment.
