Spanish Jobless Rate Rises To Decade-high In Q2

Spain's jobless rate rose to a ten-year high of 17.9% in the second quarter from 17.36% in the first quarter, the National Statistics Institute said Friday.

The number of unemployed soared 126,700 from the first quarter to reach 4.14 million. Compared to the previous year, the number grew 1.76 million.
