Belgium's July Business Confidence Highest Since November 2008

Belgium's business confidence in July rose to its highest level since November 2008, the National Bank of Belgium said Thursday.

The central bank's overall synthetic curve, a measure for business confidence, improved to minus 22.8 in July from minus 23.6 in June.

According to the official report, confidence rose in manufacturing and building industries and in trade. But, pessimism increased in business-related services.
