Friday, U.K.'s statistical office is expected to reveal the economy's performance in the second quarter and German think-tank Ifo will give a picture of business climate in the country.
At 2.00am ET, building industry statistics for May is due from Germany' Federal Statistical Office. Statistics Finland is also scheduled to release a report on building permits for the month of May. Foreign trade data for June is due from Estonia's statistical office.
At 2.45am ET, French consumer confidence survey results are slated to release from the statistical office INSEE. The consumer sentiment indicator is expected to remain at minus 37 in June.
Fifteen minutes later, retail sales data is due from Hungary.
At 4.00am ET, the Munich-based Ifo Institute for Economic Research is set to release monthly business sentiment survey results. German business sentiment is forecast to rise to 86.5 in July from 85.9 in June. At the same time, the current assessment indicator is seen at 82.9, up from 82.4 in June. The economic expectations index is likely to rise to 90.1 from 89.5.
Half an hour later, U.K's Office for National Statistics is expected to announce second quarter gross domestic product or GDP figures. On a quarterly basis, GDP is expected to fall 0.3% in the second quarter after falling 2.4% in the first quarter. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, a decline of 5.2% is seen for the second quarter.
A report on services output for the three months to May is also due from the ONS. Economists predict a drop of 0.8% in services output.
Flash PMI reports for European economies are also due on Friday.
