S. African Non-Farm Employment Falls In Q2

South Africa's non-agricultural employment declined by 67,000 from the first quarter to 8.25 million in the second quarter, a report by Statistics South Africa said Tuesday. Gross earnings of employees rose 0.2% or by 429 million rand to 259.6 billion rand during the same period. On a year-on-year basis, employment in the non-farm sector declined by 198,000.
