Eurozone's working day and seasonally adjusted current account surplus stood at EUR 0.1 billion in November, up from EUR 4.6 billion deficit in October, the European Central Bank said on Tuesday.
The surplus on goods trade dropped to EUR 7 billion from EUR 7.1 billion in October. Similarly, the surplus on services trade decreased to EUR 2.3 billion from EUR 3.7 billion. At the same time, the deficit on income widened to EUR 3.3 billion from EUR 2 billion, while the current transfers deficit narrowed to EUR 5.8 billion from EUR 13.4 billion.
On an unadjusted basis, the current account balance showed a surplus of EUR 0.1 billion in November, up from a revised EUR 3.9 billion deficit in October.
The capital account surplus amounted to EUR 1.2 billion in November, up from EUR 0.3 billion surplus in October. The financial account balance showed a deficit of EUR 0.6 billion, down from EUR 4.5 billion in October.
