Tuesday, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office announced that the total producer price index or PPI increased 0.3% year-on-year in November, compared to a flat reading in the previous month. A year earlier, the PPI was up 6.9%.
On a monthly basis, the PPI rose 0.5% in November, after a flat reading in October.
For the January to November period, the PPI increased 5.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, export sales prices of industry rose 0.5% on a monthly basis and was up 1.2% compared to the previous year.
