Cyprus Consumer Price Inflation Rises In December

Tuesday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 2% year-on-year in December, faster than the 1.4% growth in the previous month. A year ago, the CPI was up 2.1%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.31% in December.

For the January to December period, consumer prices increased 0.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
