Greek Jan. HICP Inflation Slows

Thursday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP rose 2.3% year-on-year in January, slower than the 2.6% growth in the previous month. A year ago, the HICP inflation was 2%.

On a monthly basis, the HICP dropped 0.8% in January, in contrast to a 0.1% increase in the previous month.
