Vietnam GDP Growth Slows In 2009

Vietnam's gross domestic product or GDP increased 5.32% in 2009, slower than the 6.18% growth last year, the General Statistics Office said on Thursday. This was the lowest growth rate since 1999.

In the fourth quarter, the GDP grew 6.9% year-on-year, faster than a revised 6.04% growth in the previous quarter.
