Eurozone Nov. Retail Sales Decline More Than Expected

Eurozone retail sales decreased 1.2% on a monthly basis in November, slower than the 0.2% growth in the previous month, a report by Eurostat showed on Thursday. Retail sales figure for October was revised from a flat reading estimated initially. Economists expected a flat reading for November.

Year-on-year, retail sales dropped 4% in November, after falling 1.3% in October, revised from 1.9% decline reported initially. Economists had predicted a 1.9% drop for November.
