Turkey Producer Prices Continue To Rise In January

Producer prices in Turkey were up 6.3% year-on-year in January, faster than the 5.9% increase in the previous month, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Wednesday.

On a monthly basis, producer prices grew 0.6% in January, compared to the 0.7% increase in the preceding month.

Prices in the mining & stone quarrying sector increased 1.3% month-on-month in January, while that in the manufacturing sector was up 0.2%. Prices fell 0.6% in the electricity, water & gas sector.
