The Bank of Korea said on Wednesday that consumer confidence in South Korea eased slightly in February, with the consumer sentiment index falling to 111 from 113 in the previous month. A figure exceeding 100 indicates optimists outnumber pessimists.
The sentiment indicator had stood at 113 for three straight months.
The consumer confidence index was based on a survey of 2,200 households in 56 major cities, conducted between February 10 and February 18.
