New Zealand Non-Resident Security Holdings Rise In January

The proportion of New Zealand government bonds held by foreigners increased to 63.6% in January from 63.2% in December, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand said on Tuesday.

The total value of the non-resident bond holdings came to NZ$16.94 billion in January, up from NZ$16.38 billion in the previous month.

At the same time, total non-resident security holdings climbed to 51.7% from 51.3%.
