New Zealand's commodity export prices rose for the eleventh straight month in January, ANZ bank said in a report released on Monday.
Commodity prices were up 0.4% month-on-month in January. In world price terms, seven commodities recorded stronger prices, while two declined.
Dairy prices slid 2% from the previous month in January - the first such reduction in seven months. Wool was the other commodity to record a fall in prices, down 0.6%. On the other hand, prices of skins, log, beef, aluminium, lamb, seafood and sawn timber all increased.
In New Zealand dollar terms, the commodity price index fell 1.2% in January.
