Wednesday, the National Bank of Belgium announced that the trade deficit stood at EUR 0.1 billion in November, narrowing from EUR 1.5 billion deficit a year ago.
Exports increased 3% on an annual basis to EUR 16.1 billion in November, while imports dropped 5.4% to EUR 16.2 billion.
For the September to November period, exports and imports decreased by 4.8% and 9.1% , respectively compared to the same period of the previous year.
