German Raw Steel Production Drops In July

Friday, Germany's Federal Statistical Office said in a report that the raw steel production in metallurgical plants declined 28.8% year-over-year to 2.69 million tones in July, compared with a 39.9% fall in the previous month.

At the same time, pig iron production dropped 30% to 1.66 million tones, after falling 44.1% in June.
