German Industrial Production Falls In June

German industrial production fell 0.1% month-on-month in June after an upwardly revised increase of 4.3% in May, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology said Friday. Economists had forecast an increase of 0.5% in June.

On an annual basis, output plunged 18.1%, quicker than a 17.5% decline expected. In May, output was down 17.9%.
