Bulgaria Avg. Monthly Wages And Salaries Increase In Q2

Tuesday, Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute announced that the average monthly wages and salaries increased 15.3% year-over-year in the second quarter.

Sequentially, wages and salaries grew 4.4% in the second quarter. The highest increase in wages and salaries was reported in financial and insurance activities at 14.2%.

Meanwhile, the number of employees under labor contract decreased 0.4% sequentially to BGN 2.4 million in the second quarter.
