Wednesday, Romania's National Institute of Statistics announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 1.4% year-on-year in July, after a flat reading in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased 0.3% in July, compared with a 0.6% growth in the previous month.
