Italian large company employment in May fell 0.2% month-on-month, taking the annual decline to 1.4%, a report from the Istat showed Thursday.

Employment in big service providers fell 0.1% on a monthly basis and dropped 0.9% year-on-year.

Industrial sector employment was down 2.5% in May compared to the previous year and declined 0.3% from April.
