Thursday, Ireland's Central Statistical Office said manufacturing output rose 8.9% year-on-year in July, after a 1.9% growth in the preceding month.
On a monthly basis, the seasonally adjusted manufacturing output rose 9.2%, after a 8.1% growth in the previous month. In the three months ended July, output rose 4.7% from the preceding three-month period.
Meanwhile, manufacturing turnover fell 11.8% year-on-year in July and 6.5% on a monthly basis. Moreover, in the May to July period, turnover fell 9.8% compared to the preceding three months.
