Germany Real Wage Earnings Rise In Q3

Real wage earnings in Germany rose 0.6% year-on-year in the third quarter, rebounding from the 1.2% decrease in the previous quarter, the Federal Statistical Office reported on Friday. Wage earnings were down 0.1% a year ago.

Wage earnings rose highest in the education industry, up 4% in the third quarter. Earnings in public administration & defense climbed 3.8%, while earnings in the manufacturing sector dropped 3%.
