The Bank of Japan's governor Masaaki Shirakawa said Tuesday that the country needs to improve its finances, reports said quoting the Yomiuri newspaper.
Shirakawa said looking at Japan's finances on a global scale, the situation was bad and it was necessary to restore the country's finances to a healthy balance. Moreover, the governor said adopting inflationary policies to reduce the cost of government borrowings would cause various problems.
