Romania's consumer prices rose 0.39% on a monthly basis in September, after falling 0.19% in the previous month, the National Institute of Statistics said Monday.
In September, food prices fell 0.2% from the previous month. However, non-food and service prices rose 0.8% and 0.5% respectively.
Year-on-year, consumer prices rose 4.94% in September. At the same time, the harmonized index of consumer prices for the twelve months ended September climbed 6.2% from last year.
