Inflation is Australia was up 0.3 percent on month in November, a report from TD Securities and the Melbourne Institute revealed on Monday, after it had eased 0.3 percent in the previous month.
On an annual basis, inflation was up 2.1 percent after adding 1.2 percent in October. The gains were due mainly to increases in the prices for food and fuel, the data showed.
The trimmed mean was up 0.2 percent on month in November following the 0.3 percent decline in October. In the 12 months to November, the trimmed mean was up 2.4 percent.
