Turkey's Export Index Drops In July

Turkey's overall export index fell 5.4% on an annual basis in July, while the import index was down 14.3% annually, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a report on Friday.

Exports in the agriculture & forestry sector and mining sector increased at an annual rate of 36% and 13.9%, respectively, in July.

In terms of value, the exports index dropped 24.2% on year, while the imports index was down 29.4% in July.
