Malta September Visitor Arrivals Drop

Visitor arrivals into Malta decreased 6.8% year-on-year in September to 130,296, the National Statistics Office said Wednesday.

The total number of overnight stays dropped 8.6% on a yearly basis, while total expenditure by tourists slid 14.1%.

In the January to September period, the total number of visitor arrivals declined 10.4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
