The monetary base in Japan was up 3.8 percent on year in November, the Bank of Japan said on Wednesday, standing at 92.2 trillion yen after the 4.4 percent annual increase in October.
Banknotes in circulation eased 0.3 percent on year to 75.7 trillion yen after coming in flat a month earlier, while coins in circulation were down 0.4 percent to 4.5 trillion yen after shedding 0.2 percent in the previous month.
Current account balances were up 43.4 percent on year to 11.9 trillion yen after adding 43.8 percent in October.
Seasonally adjusted, the monetary base declined 3.6 percent to 92.99 trillion yen after adding 1.0 percent a month earlier.
