French Trade Deficit Widens In June

The French trade balance showed a shortfall of EUR 4.01 billion in June, larger than the EUR 3.14 billion deficit seen in May, the Customs Office announced Friday. The deficit stood well above the expected shortfall of EUR 2.9 billion. Exports totaled EUR 27.44 billion and imports amounted to EUR 31.45 billion.
