French consumer confidence rose more than expected in November, survey data released by statistical office Insee showed Friday.
The sentiment indicator rose to minus 30 in November from October's revised figure of minus 34. Economists had forecast the indicator to log minus 35, the preliminary estimate for October.
In November, households' assessment on past and future financial situation improved. Their view on past and future economic situation also bettered. Households expectations about unemployment decreased. Consumers report a low past inflation and expect a low future inflation.
