Cyprus Q3 Jobless Rate Rises

Friday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the jobless rate stood at 5.4% in the third quarter, up from 3.6% recorded in the same period of a year ago.

The number of unemployed persons totaled 22,000 in the third quarter. The number of male unemployed stood at 11,900 and female unemployed totaled 10,000.
